The Pleasant Hill Jazz Festival thanks you for taking the time out of your day to help the 41st Annual Festival run smoothly on Saturday, April 16th. As a thank you for volunteering your time, you will receive a free festival pass for the day. Please check in at the High School Office 20 minutes PRIOR to your volunteer position start time.  At that time you will receive reminder instructions, a name tag and your festival pass.

Pleasant Hill Groups Performance Times:
     Vocal Solo - Katie: 8:40 a.m. (warm-up at 8:20 a.m.)
     Vocal Solo - Dalton: 9:00 a.m. (warm-up at 8:40 a.m.)
     Vocal Solo - Alessandra 9:20 a.m. (warm-up at 9:00 a.m.)
     Vocal Solo - Bailee 9:40 a.m. (warm-up at 9:20 a.m.)
     Variations: 10:30 a.m. (warm-up at 10:05 a.m.)
     Music Club Combo: 12:30 a.m. (warm-up at 12:00 a.m.)
     Pray/Selander Combo: 1:30 p.m. (warm-up at 1:00 p.m.)
     Ascensions - 2:50 p.m. (warm-up at 2:30 p.m.)


Job Descriptions:

Campus Patrol - If you love the outdoors, this is the job for you!  You will walk between the high school campus and elementary campus and make sure people are being safe and smart in their actions. If students aren't, just give them a friendly reminder to make smart and safe decisions.

Clinic Sitter - If you enjoy listening and learning with a stroll, this is your job!  Clinic sitters will be monitoring the hallways and clinic areas (elementary commons) to make sure people are making safe and smart decisions.

High School Office Assistant - This position will hand out name tags to volunteers, being a cashier to paying patrons and assist Mrs. Gilman in any necessary way. You also may hear some of the behind the scenes activities that take place!!!

Elementary Office Assistant - This position will be greating the directors and schools joining us for the festival. You will be giving directors packets and festival passes, being a cashier to paying patrons and being an assistant to others in the office. You also get to mingle with some of the adjudicators as they pass through!

Concessions (same at HS and Elem.) - You will be selling pre-packaged goods as well as t-shirts. If you are at the HS, you may get to hear live music throughout the day!  Basically, you are the place to shop for goodies!!!

Evening Elementary Cashier - You will be selling tickets in the gym entrance to the Instrumental Finals.  You will be able to hear all ensembles who've made it to finals while selling tickets.

Door Guards - You will be standing either inside or outside a venue making sure no one enters or exits the room during a performance. It is also important that door guards remind those waiting to enter or exit are also quiet.  You will be able to listen to groups performing during this time!!!
