Messy Afternoons (Grades 1 - 2) $215 4/1/2019 - 5/6/2019 (6 weeks) Mondays
Your child will love exploring all sorts of messy art supplies with Mrs. Spangler in this class! From paper-mache and printmaking to ceramics and painting, students will have fun and leave the mess at school rather than in your house.
Afterschool Sports (Grades 3 - 4) No Enrollment/No Fee   Mondays
This unsurpassed sports program offers soccer, flag football, lacrosse/field hockey, volleyball, tumbling, dance, hockey, basketball, racket sports, track & field, softball, and fitness.  Though primarily a recreational program, some inter-school competition is offered. No enrollment necessary. Just come and enjoy.
Ceramics (Grades 3 - 5) $215 1/7/2019 - 2/25/2019 (6 weeks) Mondays
This class will give students the opportunity to expand what they know about clay using a variety of hand-building techniques. Children love working in clay, and this is a great way for them to create both guided and choice projects beyond what is taught during the school day.
Yoga (Grades JK - 3) Session 1 $105 1/7/2019 - 3/4/2019 (7 weeks) Mondays
Little Heart Yoga focuses on building strength, balance, flexibility, body awareness, and mindfulness. While teaching the fundamentals of a traditional yoga practice, this course will include games, activities and music. Your child will need a yoga mat or a beach towel and should wear comfortable clothing. Lauren Hendricks, creator of Little Heart Yoga, has been a classroom teacher for sixteen years and holds a Master’s degree in education. Lauren has two levels of children’s yoga certification, 300 hours in each. Lauren combines her love of teaching with her passion for fitness and is excited to share Little Heart Yoga with your child. Valdez Math, Vocab and Trivia Game Shows (Grades 4 - 6) $430 1/7/2019 - 4/22/2019 (12 weeks) Mondays
Each week a combination of different math, vocabulary and trivia games will challenge student teams to answer questions using variations of popular game shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Jeopardy, and Family Feud. With Mr. Valdez as the host of each game show, students will enjoy learning and summon all their knowledge!
Whiz Kids (Grades JK - 1) $122 1/7/2019 - 3/11/2019 (8 weeks) Mondays
Join us on a science discovery mission! We will explore the world of chemistry, engineering and earth science through experiments and encounters. This program will enhance STEM education philosophies with a big punch of fun! Join us for this exciting journey into the world of science!
Cooking Tuesdays (Grades JK - 2) $220 1/8/2019 - 2/12/2019 Tuesdays
This multi-sensory class is a wonderful experience in cooking various foods using a variety of ingredients and utensils. In each class, the students will be involved with the preparation of foods along with a delicious tasting. Each recipe is collected for the students, and they will add their own representation by coloring a picture of each creation. At the conclusion of the classes, each student will leave with his or her very own self-illustrated recipe book.
IMACS (Grades SK - 5) Enroll through IMACS 1/8/2019 - 5/7/2019 (16 weeks) Tuesdays
IMACS Mathematics Enrichment classes develop mathematical and logical reasoning using logic puzzles, deductive games, mathematical problem solving and other interesting mathematical activities.

Students acquire a well-grounded self-confidence and show significant improvement in thinking and reasoning and in the ability to tackle non-routine problems. IMACS is not intended to replace the Rossman math curriculum; rather, it is an enrichment program for students with an intense interest in mathematics.

IMACS Mathematics Enrichment classes are not grouped by grade level, but by intuitive ability. Four levels of classes are offered: Primary, Elementary, Mathematics and Full Enrichment. Assessments by IMACS teachers will determine the appropriate class and day for your child.

Golf Grades (Grades SK -4) Session 1 $110 2/5/2019 - 2/26/2019 (4 weeks) Tuesdays
St. Louis Golf Lessons uses world renowned SNAG Golf and U.S. Kids Golf equipment and coaching programs, along with LPGA research based instruction protocols. Instructors are U.S. Kids Certified, Positive Coaching Alliance Certified and Protecting God's Children Certified. These 4-week classes will enhance the skills of experienced golfers while teaching the basics of full swing and short game to brand new players.

Come explore the tastes of the world by visiting Italy to make tiramisu, sailing to Mexico to create salsa, and cruising to France to bake crepes. Pack your bags because this is an adventure that you do not want to miss! Our student chefs will cook and craft the classes away!

Incredible Inventions Robotics (Grades 2 - 6) $170 1/9/2019 - 2/27/2019 (8 weeks) Wednesdays
Does your child enjoy inventing new things? In this class, students will learn about the process real inventors go through while they help design, build and program robotic models to solve problems using LEGO bricks and robotics. Is your child the next Thomas Edison? Learning is enhanced through the use of laptops.
Beginners Chess (Grades JK - 1) $170 1/9/2019 - 5/8/2019 (16 weeks) Wednesdays
Join Checkmate St. Louis as we introduce beginning chess players to the royal game. Specifically for students in grades JK through 1, this class introduces young students to the rules of the game and basic strategies in a comfortable environment of beginners. This is a perfect head start in learning chess and is designed to compliment the more advanced Thursday Chess Club. Students also have the option of joining the advanced class when they feel comfortable with a basic understanding of chess.
Ninja Obstacles (Grades SK - 4) $105 3/6/2019 - 5/8/2019 (8 weeks) Wednesdays
Experience the excitement and thrills of the TV show's favorite challenges. Test your agility and balance on the Quad Steps and the Spinning Log! Navigate Cannon Ball Alley and the Cliff Hanger! All obstacles are designed with the young athlete in mind. They will challenge upper body strength, balance and coordination. Our enthusiastic coaches teach proper technique and add helpful tips to assist the athlete in mastering each obstacle.
Chess (Grades 2 - 6) $150 1/10/2019 - 5/2/2019 (14 weeks) Thursdays
Chess teacher Joseph Garnier guides a journey into a world of tactics and strategy. Each student is placed in a group according to his/her level for tailored instruction. Players practice tactics and strategy while improving their critical thinking skills. During the final three weeks of class, students compete in a tournament and have the opportunity to win prizes.

Along with 14 years of chess teaching experience, Joseph is an expert rated player with the United States Chess Federation. He was also the 2005 Missouri Scholastic Champion and is one of St. Louis' strongest blitz chess players.
Tennis (Grades JK - 1) $360 1/10/2019 - 5/2/2019 (14 weeks) Thursdays
Tiny Tots Tennis is an introduction to tennis for young children. By using smaller rackets, softer balls, adjustable nets, and smaller courts, students will learn to play tennis within weeks using the proper technique for the remainder of their tennis education. This class, while informative, is upbeat and encourages the children to have lots of fun in a safe, learning environment.
Rossman Players Revue (Grades 4 - 6) Enroll through COCA $350 1/10/2019 - 4/25/2019 (11 weeks) Thursdays
COCA (Center of Creative Arts) is seeking students who:
  1. Would love to act, sing and dance in a high-quality musical revue performed at Rossman for family and friends.
  2. Want to participate in a team-oriented learning experience, working with professional teaching artist.
  3. Will bring their talents, energy and focus to classes and rehearsal.
  4. Are committed to preparation and practice outside of class time.

Junior Engineers (Grades JK - 1) $170 1/10/2019 - 3/7/2019 (8 weeks) Thursdays
Young students will build fun and simple models using DUPLO blocks. By playing with and manipulating the models, they will experience pulleys, levers, gears and wheels and axles while exploring energy, buoyancy and balance. Classes include free-building time to promote creativity.
Movement Safari (Grades JK - 2) $120 4/4/2019 - 5/9/2019 (6 weeks) Thursdays
Students will take a trip through the animal kingdom in movement as they hop, creep, lumber and gallop. The focus of this class is on basic creative movement/dance concepts such as non-locomotor movement words and actions, locomotor words and actions, personal and general space, and an exploration of the qualities of movement using animals as inspiration.

Lessons Unlimited (Grades JK - 6) Enroll through Lessons Unlimited   Day TBD

Founded in 2001, Lessons Unlimited is a group of dedicated music teachers who care about student education by fostering music appreciation. L.U. instructors are members of both the National Music Teachers Association and the Missouri Music Teachers Association and have an average of over 15 years of teaching experience.

L.U. offers music lessons at any level, introductory to advanced, to students and their family members. The lessons are arranged on an individual or group basis for both children and adults and are scheduled during afterschool hours and on Saturdays. L.U. offers lessons for a variety of instruments — piano, violin, guitar, percussion, clarinet, flute, saxophone and many more. They can also accommodate specific instrument requests. Lessons can be given for groups — band, string, wind ensembles and more. Students will be given opportunities to perform during Lessons Unlimited recitals and school events.
