PickAtime allows you to add customizable questions with various answer types (e.g.radio buttons, drop-down lists, check boxes) for participants. These fields can be configured in two places:

  • Global Setup / Contacts Setup / Contact Fields page
  • Settings / Appointment Fields tab

How to Add and Configure a Question

  1. Add a New Question:
    • Go to the appropriate setup page and create a new question.
  2. Include the Question:
    • The new question will appear in the "Available Fields" section.
    • Select the question and click the left arrow button (<) to move it to the "Included Fields" section.
  3. Set the Question Type:
    • In the "Included Fields" section, locate the "Type" column for the added question.
    • Click the cell to choose a type from the drop-down menu and select "Choice".
  4. Configure the Options:
    • The Question Editor will appear.
    • Click "Add New Option" to add responses.
    • You can choose one of the following formats:
      • Drop-down list
      • Radio buttons
      • Checkboxes
    • Use the <> arrows to rearrange the options.

Conditional Logic: Hide/Show Fields Based on Responses

  • You can configure the conditional visibility of fields based on participant responses.
  • Each Included Field has a number.
  • Check the box labeled "Hide/Show fields based on the user response" to activate this feature.
  • Next to each response option, an additional field will appear:
    • Enter the numbers of the fields to be hidden when the option is selected.
    • Use commas or dashes to separate numbers (e.g., 3,4,5 or 3-5).
    • To show specific fields instead, prefix each field name with a / (e.g., /5, /6).

Example:

  • If a participant selects "Junior" for a specific question:
    • You can configure it to show only fields 5 and 6.
    • Participants will not see any fields beyond that unless specified.
    • This rule only applies to fields after the conditional field.
